Gift Aid on Sponsorship Processing
A service to help charities and churches make the most of their fundraising


We will process the Gift Aid you can claim on sponsored events.

This service requires no prior investment on the part of your charity. If you, like many charities, are not currently recovering Gift Aid on the donations made by supporters through sponsored events such as marathons, cycle rides, swims etc because of the work involved then read on.

We are able to offer this service by using software we have developed which allows us to process your sponsorship forms rapidly.

The GASP Service
We will:
  • Give you a sample sponsorship form with the correct wording for Gift Aid purposes
  • Process all the completed forms after you have received the money
  • Give you a completed Inland Revenue R68 (New Gift Aid) form ready for you to post

    What you do:
  • Send us your completed sponsorship forms
  • Copy the total from the completed R68 (New Gift Aid) form to your Tax Claim summary form and send both forms to the Inland Revenue
  • Pay us 25p + VAT per taxpayer appearing on your sponsorship forms
  • Bank your cheque from the Inland Revenue

    Use this table to see how much your income from the event will increase through using the GASP service to recover your Gift aid Tax. (Based on the 2011/2012 tax rate and VAT at 20%)

    Remember, we only charge you 25p + VAT per taxpayer entry, regardless of the amount the sponsor has pledged. We have no part in handling the money donated in your event. (We usually ignore donations less than £1.50 to avoid charging you unnecessarily)
