Set up a header record with dates, times, event manager's contact details, risk assessment signoffs, etc.
Add in the Information and Intention sections of the standard police oders format.
Create as many appendices to the orders as you require.
And - the key screen in this application - build your list of all the individual tasks within the management plan for the event or operation, and allocate personnel and equipment to each task. Don't worry if you overlook a task first time round - you can add it in and the system will automatically place it in the right time sequence and renumber all the serials.
Print a full set of orders at the click of a button.
An important feature is the ability to use a previous event as a model for the one you are now planning, rather than having to start from scratch or do a lot of copy typing! For annual events you can use last year's orders as the model. Clicking the 'copy an event' button provides a full copy, written into a new event record - just change the dates and allocate personnel afresh for the new event. For audit purposes it is necessary to enter new risk assessment signoffs.
