Workshops
If you are in the southern half (loosely defined!) of England or
Wales we can offer you a workshop for your Sunday School
teachers, Family Service leaders, etc, in both introductory use
of a vent figure like Freddie (below) and other Christian visual
aids ideas from various sources. We also recommend books and
magazines as sources of ideas that we have found useful. Let's
all exchange ideas, because we can get rusty in our efforts to
keep the presentation of the Gospel fresh!

Cleaford Puppets are made from good quality materials. The heads are made from a soft foam base, and covered with cotton skin. The hair is made from wool and hand sewn onto the heads in various styles. Cleaford Puppets are dressed in bright clothing which can be added to, making a personalised wardrobe.
From a customer in USA: I went to your site again and looked at Freddy with an extremely pleased feeling because MY Jane was in the next room. (arrived Friday afternoon). She is more beautiful than I could have imagined. Everyone at work was playing with her hair, which by the way is the exact same color as mine!!, and she was also given a little silver necklace with a teddy bear on it. Her dress is perfect and even closely resembles a Laura Ashley dress I wear. She was so loved by everyone. It really is wonderful what a puppet can do even for adults. I want to thank you so much for all you did and thank the artists for everything. Everyone was also amazed to hear the whole thing was carried out entirely over the internet. There are two basic designs of Cleaford Puppets, the full puppet and the half puppet. The half puppet is without legs, and is most often used behind a theatre. The full puppet has legs, and can be used in almost any situation, often sitting on your knee like a traditional ventriloquist's dummy. Full puppets are approx. 28 inches high, and half puppets approx. 15 inches. Both types have been successfully used in schools and churches around Britain.
